Omer Day 36 חסד שביסוד Chesed SheB’Yesod

Love. Flow. Generosity. Extension. Lovingkindness. Outreach within Foundation. Roots. Connection. Grounding.

The Chesed that is found within Yesod can look so many different ways. It can look like snuggling with the family on the couch. It can look like Extending an interested ear to someone who is finding Connection after many years of alienation. Sometimes it looks like staying awake WAAAAY past bedtime to support the beloved in distress.

I count myself as extremely fortunate to have had each of these experiences within the last two days. The Foundational relationships in our lives provide endless opportunities for Chesed in its many qualities. The Chesed that is within Yesod is both given and received. That is what makes these Connections work and take Root.

Tonight (unlike last night) the dog is not barking, my daughter is peaceful, and I am ready for bed early enough to write tonight, in the early beginnings of this new day of the Omer count. I will look forward to the experiences that are magnified by the lens of Chesed SheB’Yesod

May you be blessed with a Flow of Love in your Foundational relationships. May the Roots that keep you Grounded be nourished by Lovingkindness.
