Chesed SheBeNetzach. Love Lovingkindness within Ambition Endurance Eternity.
Loving kindness within Endurance. Love within Ambition. Lovingkindness within Ambition. Reaching out within Eternity. Lovingkindess within Eternity.
Ambition, at its best, is a great thing. At its worst, we have the cut-throat mentality of blind ambition that drives us to reach our desires regardless of the consequences. Loved ones are neglected, people who potentially share our aims are cut off and left in tatters in our willful wake.
Infused with Love, however, Ambition drives us to maximize our potential for developing our gifts. In an Ambition steeped in Chesed, we reach out and see how we can include others in collaboration towards achieving our successes. We build communities, we instill a sense of purpose in those upon whose skills and talents we call. We thereby increase our potential to be useful to others, tobring good into the world.
Endurance. Another aspect of Netzach that can go two decidedly different directions. The thing to be endured is drudgery, unpleasant, a burden to bear. We can get resentful about the work it takes to achieve a goal, even when it started from a place of excitement and inspiration. A sense of endurance guided by Love can give us the persistence to keep going, to work step by step to achieve a goal, and remember why we started in the first place. Lovingkindess within Endurance gives us what we need to move forward in a good marriage through a difficult time.
Eternity is a long, long time. In the microcosmic way that we can grasp, our lives here on Earth are their own Eternity. It can be very lonely if we do not reach out with the arm of Chesed, drawing others into our world as we walk through our own individual eternities.
On this day, let us take time to remember why we started "This Project". Let us looks for ways to include others in our plans. If our work is solitary, let us not forget to reach out to those in our lives who love us and need our presence.
Olam Chesed Yibaneh. The Universe shall be built upon Chesed.
